Review: Sunday Riley Luna Sleeping Night Oil & Good Genes Treatment
I purchased two Sunday Riley products a few months ago, and wanted to share my experience! It's definitely not cheap, so I was a bit hesitant to try these products, but so far I have seen enough improvement to prove its worth!
Luna Sleeping Night Oil - This is a retinoid oil that claims to reduce pore size, improve appearance of damaged skin, and help fight wrinkles while moisturizing and calming the skin. I've been using this nightly for about a month now, and I haven't seen any drastic improvements like other have experienced, but I have noticed the texture of my skin has improved a bit. I have acne scars and I found that this has been helping in conjunction with other products. The smell can be a bit strange to some, but I don't mind it at all. This is the first thing I put on my face after taking a shower. I let it sit for a few minutes then continue on with the rest of my skincare routine.
Good Genes Treatment - This product is an all-in-one lactic acid brightening treatment that can also be used as a mask. It claims to plumps lines, exfoliate and refine the skin. It can be used daily, but I only use it about twice a week just for the sake of using it sparingly (It's $105)! I only use it at night because it leaves my skin feeling a little weird and super shiny looking (not oily though). When I wake up in the morning, I see a big difference in radiance, and my redness is mostly gone!
So far, I am loving both products! I have seen a good amount of improvement in my skin, and I hope with continued use, it will get better. My only negative comment is that they are so darn expensive! I am curious to try more products from Sunday Riley, but my wallet will be very unhappy. Have you tried any Sunday Riley products? What improvements have you seen in your skin?
