Review: Glossier

Earlier this year I purchased a whole bunch of Glossier products, and i've been testing them out on and off for the past month and I wanted to tell you about my experience so far!

Milky Jelly Cleanser - This cleanser is Glossier's newest addition to their line. It claims to remove all makeup and be super gentle to the skin. I did find that it was gentle, and it reminded me of my Fresh Soy Cleanser that I use daily, but it didn't remove my makeup as well as i'd like. I occasionally use it to wash my face in the mornings, and I like that it is non-drying which is good for my combination skin. At $18, it is a great deal. I would recommend to those that don't wear too much makeup, or to just use a separate makeup remover before using this cleanser.

Soothing Face Mist - Out of everything I purchased from Glossier, their face mist is my favorite. It is a simple rose water spray that is supposed to sooth and hydrate your skin. It is very similar to Mario Badescu's Rose Water Facial Spray, which I have been using previously. I like the spray this right after a shower after drying my face; I found this keeps my skin from getting dry and flaky.

Priming Moisturizer - I haven't used the moisturizer consistently, but the times that I did use it, I found that it didn't really sit well with my makeup. I found my makeup to be more patchy which was odd since this is a "priming" moisturizer. Luckily this moisturizer didn't break me out. Overall, this product was just okay.

Balm DotCom - I also purchased the coconut version of this balm, and I love the smell of it. I've been using it at night on my lips before bed and it seems to do a good job. I just see it as another lipbalm, nothing too special about it. The nice thing about it is that it is multi-purpose, so something i'd use it on my hands, or my elbows where it can get very dry.

Overall, I am impressed with Glossier's skincare line! I would definitely repurchase their Soothing Face Mist. I found that most products did what they claimed which I enjoyed. When I purchased all the products, I used a coupon code so the price was pretty fair for everything. Have you tried Glossier? What is your favorite product?
